Natural Skin Tightening In Simple Steps

No comments June 13th, 2010

Natural skin tightening can be accomplished with just a few simple steps. There is no need to subject your face or your checkbook to the needles and other treatments offered by cosmetic surgeons.

The right topically applied formula can improve the skins health and appearance. It might not happen overnight, but the sagging and wrinkles didnt develop overnight, either. So, give yourself some time. Heres how to start the healing process.

Unless you have recently lost a lot of weight, the causes of the sagging are the same as those that cause the other signs of aging. Decreased production of collagen and elastin fibers is one problem. A low level of hyaluronic acid is another.

Free radical damage plays a role in wrinkle and age spot formation. Just how much of a role it plays in lost firmness is difficult to estimate. But, free radicals probably play a role in damaging the elastic fibers.

Chronic inflammation can also damage the elastic fibers, as time goes by. Knowing the causes of lost firmness is important for understanding how best to treat it. It is possible to reduce chronic inflammation, prevent and reverse free radical damage, increase the production of elastic fibers and improve the skins hyaluronic acid content, naturally.

The first step for natural skin tightening might be to make some changes in your diet. Some foods and beverages contribute to chronic inflammation, while other foods have natural anti-inflammatory activity. Increasing your intake of omega-3 fatty acids while reducing your intake of other dietary fats is one suggestion.

Another suggestion is to add more naturally anti-inflammatory herbs and spices to your diet. For example, turmeric, ginger and pepper have anti-inflammatory activity.

No one can avoid the nature, namely the elderly. But the science of nutrition can help slow the aging process. Is the secret?

The process of getting older is a process that occurs in the body that runs slowly but surely, in which the body functions decrease gradually. The decline of this function include anatomical, biochemical, hormonal balance and others. A result of this aging process there are two types of age, the chronological age or calendar age and biological age.

Chronological age is the age that we see from the calendar, is viewed from the biological age and physiological condition of body tissue. Biological age is strongly influenced by environmental conditions. In this case nutritional factors very important role.

Thus, although the same chronological age, but the biological age can differ from one person to another. It depends on the maturity (or decline) the body tissues. Biological elderly in certain limits can be slowed, partly by nutrition, but can not be prevented.

Many of the theories proposed this aging process. But definitely all the cells in the body tissue is always experienced with the new changes. This replacement process at a young age much faster than during old age.

Almost all body tissues have regular turnover. But there are certain networks with very slow turnover, as having no change at all. Examples are network kollagen and olastin networks, which make the body elastic and rubbery. Both including connective tissue.

Thus, kollagen network we have is the same network when we were babies. Kollagen network deterioration condition of a person in accordance with the conditions of decline or increase one’s biological age. Therefore, this network is always checked to ensure the biological age of a person, known as kollagen index.
